Carrigaline seem to be considered favorites to beat eire og , thoughts?

They beat the Barrs last weekend in a practice game, won division 2 league this year and beat Eire og in championship last year. No shock here

Absolutely. They’re no where near the big 4. They might pull off a shock win against Nemo in a group game but they haven’t the quality to come close to winning it out.

The big 4 is so much a calculation, more a common consensus. But if was a calculation then it’s probably a complicated formula based on a wide variety of factors such as success over the past 30 years, tradition/heritage, players/management, etc

Agreed wasn’t impressed with castlehaven I don’t think they’ll go far this year Jack cahalane was a big loss up front
