The EU Country in which a refugee was first fingerprinted in is responsible for them. The UK cannot send them back to France. It’s no longer party to the convention.Funny so how I heard an interview from a few weeks ago where an RTE reporter was speaking with these " International Asylum Seekers "
They all said they came from the UK because they were afraid of this Rwanda arrangement.
They had travelled up to Scotland across to NI and down to Dumplin.
I can't help but see that this is going to be a huge issue.
This Dublin Convention you mentioned only applies to EU countries, obviously the UK is no longer one.
Is there any history of us actually doing that ?The EU Country in which a refugee was first fingerprinted in is responsible for them. The UK cannot send them back to France. It’s no longer party to the convention.
We can.
No idea.Is there any history of us actually doing that ?
There was a court case about it that cost a fortune, hundreds of cases involved which McEntee won, then after all that she turned round and let them stay in Ireland to get their cases heard. Unbelievable, you could not make it up. But then it's not her money. Is there any history of us actually doing that ?
Don't talk shit, of course they will come here, and they already are in their thousands. No idea.
But the trope that certain agitators are spreading that we are somehow going to be flooded with refugees because of the UK’s policy on migrants is factually incorrect.
Oh run for the hills. We're all doomed. They're going to kill all our menfolk and rape all the women.Don't talk shit, of course they will come here, and they already are in their thousands.

They're still subject to the Dublin Convention. We cannot send them back to the UK, but we can send them back to the first EU country they arrived in.Don't talk shit, of course they will come here, and they already are in their thousands.
