I am assuming that was correct but of course it may be wrong
I think darkarts is right. The format he refers to was also used last seasonI am assuming that was correct but of course it may be wrong
And in that scenario Aghabullogue couldn't play the barrs again and Gabriel's couldn't play Adrigole. Thus Aghabullogue would play Adrigole and Gabriel's the barrsThe group winners are ranked 1 to 4 based on points and then scoring diff. The second placed teams are ranked 5 to 8 based off same criteria. Then it's 1v8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6 and 4 v 5 with group repeat pairings not allowed. If groups finished today it would be the following ranked 1 to 8 in this order.
1 Mitchelstown
2 Aghabullogue
3 Gabriel's
4 Kdy
5 Boher
6 Adrigole
7 Barrs
8 Nicks
They thought that aswell last year when they met the men from half a small rural parish in West muskerry and got walloped.Mitchelstown too good for any of the rest.

How they lost the 2017 final to Kanturk I'll never know! Kicked it away.I feel we’ve had this discussion about mitchelstown for years and yes they’ve easily got the squad for higher grades but they’ve a problem as big as not having talented players at all and that’s themselves. They’re often their own biggest enemy and that’s a problem that’s not easily fixed and when it comes to bite them it often has big consequences so to speak aka losing games
