Per the report, the Bavarians are making contact with several key Barcelona squad members, looking to tempt them away with the promise of a stable project. The message being sent out is: “If you’re open to a new challenge, we’re here.” Given recent results in Europe, that “new challenge” is obviously the Champions League. Bayern Munich look like a contender, while Barcelona are far off the pace.
With Julian Nagelsmann at the helm, Bayern feel that they are an attractive destination for several key Barcelona players, being financially secure and competitive in Europe. Additionally, the feeling is that the Spanish giants could be persuaded to sell due to their current financial issues.
