It won't really. This public outcry isn't just about this one case. In the same way as it wasn't just about Shane Geoghan being murdered, or Clodagh Hawe being murdered.

The reasons behind it run far deeper, imo anyway.

We'll see how it plays out. People with various agendas have already latched onto this case, if the suspect does turn out to be from an ethnic minority then more agendas will come into play, that's my opinion.
