I'm thinking the Dunney Monster and Seamus Coleman for Ireland. Obviously Andy Reid.

Bale and Ramsey. Ashley Williams for Wales.

Scotland - McGregor, a few decent midfielders in Charlie Adam, Scott Brown, James Forrest and Morrison at West Brom. Kris Boyd up-front.

We have a slight edge still because of our front two, or more particularly because of Robbie's phenomenal international goal scoring record.

Scotland have a decent batch of 21-24 year olds coming through. The likes of Bridcutt at Sunderland, Jordan Rhodes, James Forrest, Mackay-Steven at Dundee United, Matt Phillips, and so on. None of them may hit the heights of Coleman or McCarthy but their squad might be stronger in a couple of years time?

Wales have the star power but not the numbers or depth of talent. Age old problem.
