US Shooting Part 5763. .

Shocking news to wake up to. Really awful.

What's worse is these poor kids will be a footnote after all the bickering and conservative/liberal point scoring to come over the next couple of days.

Nothing will be done at government level and it will be rinse and repeat soon enough after the next inevitable tragedy.

We've a lot of issues in our own country of course but the US is such a basket case in comparison imo.

They can argue about background checks etc all they want. Bottom line is there are a lot of people with as of yet undiagnosed mental health issues that have access to guns legally or illegally. A recipe for disaster.

More than any country I know of, the US blew it. It's not the worst country on the planet, but it is the most disappointing, the one that makes me want to scream with frustration at how much it has and could be, yet continually fucks it all away. As an actor on the domestic or world stage, America barely breaks even, if it does.

You can open carry guns and no background checks in Texas.

You cannot buy alcohol until you are 21 but can buy an assault rifle at 18.
