Too late.wouldn't be surprised soon if even needing a licence to own/carry a gun is deemed unconstitutional
Many states in the United States allow permitless carry, which means that anyone who can legally own a firearm can carry it without a permit. These states include:
- Alabama: Permitless carry for those 21 and older
- Alaska: Permitless carry for those 21 and older
- Arizona: Permitless carry for those 21 and older
- Arkansas: Permitless carry for those 18 and older
- Florida: Permitless carry for those 21 and older, as of July 1, 2023
- Georgia: Permitless carry for those 21 and older, or 18 for military
- Idaho: Permitless carry for those 18 and older
- Indiana: Permitless carry for those 18 and older
- Iowa: Permitless carry for those 21 and older
- Kansas: Permitless carry for those 21 and older
- Kentucky: Permitless carry for those 21 and older
- Louisiana: Permitless carry for those 21 and older, effective July 4, 2024
- Maine: Permits recognized, but see Maine reciprocity section for details
