I've not tried that one. I had an Italian one the other day Barbera D'Asti 2018. Was ok,drinkable.
I'd still prefer Dunnes stuff
Which Barbera was it?

I love barbera d’asti, but I prefer the 13.0-13.5% lighter end of the scale with them as you can actually taste everything going on. They alcohol content of them has really gone up in the last few years so most are now 14-14.5% fruit bombs

This is 13.5. Superiore. The rest is in Italian. Black bottle with a sun in the middle, a kind of stylised sun. I'll see if I can find it online
 
I enjoyed the hell out of this. Went well with the gnocchi too.
