The freesheet or "online media" that originally published the article obviously wrote "smear," when in this context it should have been "schmear" when applied to Cream Cheese on a bagel.

The pretentiousness of the interviewee may have contributed to this.

I'd like to try the Glass Curtain. The menu looks great and yer man seems like a nice guy. Some career he's had, working around the world on private yots.

To be fair as well he opened at the worst possible time before Covid but he adapted and didn't let it stop him.
