If they were getting hockeyed in games I'd agree. But in their 6 defeats in the current run, they lost 5 of them by 1 goal.

Agree. It's a high variance sport. Changing manager, esp with diff stylistic preferences, can ultimately cost clubs 100s of millions when you factor in player churn etc.

It can take a bit of bravery but in this situation it's often better to hold your nerve, especially if the current manager has shown promise at the club already.
