The news that they are genuinely trying to sign Arnautovic felt like a new low for a multitude of reasons. Much worse than any of the humiliations of last season. Beyond him being a loathsome individual who only last year was banned for disgusting carry on at a major tournament, it shows again that the owners have no interest whatsoever in bringing to club back to a level where they will be able to compete again.

A new level of protest is needed now, as others have already pointed out. Anyone still buying merchandise a couple of years back needed their head examined. Anyone still buying it now.. There are no words really.
Fergie, Robson and all the ex players still working for the club should very publicly be disassociating themselves from these owners and walking away asap.
