The Official Liverpool Thread - Part 2

Good rattlement at fee for Nunez despite a decent chunk of it being based on incentive based add-ons which really can’t be counted as such.

Also the fact he’s on a fairly modest(modern game) wage of approx £140,000 a week compared to the £380,000 that Mane is going to get at Bayern and £500,000 Haaland will get at City.

With 30 year old Mane likely to be sold for in excess of £40m, Minamino for approx £17m and a 22 year old striker coming in a little over the combined fees of both and much less wages, then this is a very smart numbers move. All that’s left to do now is actually be a success. ;)

But , but net spend cup, we're not paying top wages.

You guys crack me up.

If Klopp fails to deliver a major trophy this season then hes all out of excuses

Liverpool are paying 75M up front.

Haaland is on 375k, same as De Bruyne. No idea where you got 140k from; Mendez is on at least 280k.140k would get you nowhere for a 22 yr old striker.

So....ye
What currency you using m8? Who is Mendez? Haaland is on £500,000 a week. Nunez is going to be on £140,000 a week. Mane wants approx £380,000 a week at Bayern.

£64m up front for Nunez. Add-ons based on winning big trophies and appearances. If he’s likely to reach the point of Liverpool triggering those add-ons then he’s probably proven to be a success at that stage at which point the fee won’t be so scary for some.

But , but net spend cup, we're not paying top wages.

Stfu m8.

€100 million for an unproven atriker who may or may turn out to be worth it

Ye can stop with the poor relation act now.

But it’s not €100m? :lol!:

It’s €75m and if we win a few big things and he makes many appearances then it’ll become approx €100m and by that stage you can be sure he will be worth it if it goes that far. ;)

Everyone is a poor relation of the likes of City. End of story.

If that helps you sleep at night I won't argue m8.

This means more (than 75 million)
It’s facts m8. Why are you ignoring them?

And why do people ignore player wages when it comes to competing with the likes of City/PSG? That’s the key area as opposed to a big one-off fee. Very few, if any, clubs can afford to pay anyone £500,000 a week.

Why do ye always compare everything to city. Liverpool are one of the richest clubs in the world operating at levels 99.9999999999% of clubs can only dream of.

This means more :lol!:
