I was happy to put fish on the poll. Fishy was happy to go on the poll. Dan was the one who vetoed it because he thought it would put him under pressure to agree to his name being put on the poll.

Now he is trying to reverse that in order to keep himself off the poll.

It's an abuse of process.

I approved FishY's nomination.

You came out with some rubbish about him being happy to go on the poll instead of adjudicating.

Attacking me doesn't change that.

My suggestion would be someone like yourself start a FINAL OFFICIAL IOTY Noms thread and run a proper process this time. You can take the 7 or 8 properly verified noms from the other thread, and let people nom away for a few days. When its fizzled out we could then run a poll to trim the noms down to the final 10, and then let the games begin

The current set up was truncated for no good reason, surely we have had better than some not over the course of an entire year in this mad house?

I'm happy to put my name on the poll but any poll that doesn't include FishY and Triggs valid noms is a joke.
