The Official Golf Thread

Could be a epic night in Holywood GC tonight, fair play to Tom McKibbin. Over to Rors now.

TOT I had Morikawa each way and he withdrew from playing today but still finished in the top 8. Do I win the each way or get nothing because he withdrew? It’s with PP

I saw one of the bookies refunded the bets. You won’t get a winning bet because he didn’t complete the tournament. The final leaderboard says WD so no dice unfortunately.

On a basic sporting level you'd have said Rory was odds on to do the 'Hollywood' double after seeing McKibbin produce - he must have big technical issues to not even be able to go close - very strange for someone with so much natural talent

I was actually at Muirfield yesterday, not a big golf fan but the wife is.
Sitting at the fifth green. Rory overshot the runway, I mean green, by about one foot, the difference between having an eagle shot and the actual bogey he got
After that the whole thing went to shit.

I'm convinced the heat was getting to Shane. Typically he started well most rounds, but had a rake of howlers near the end.
Might want a bit more fitness.

Edit: He actually hit his third to the back of the green.

It's that feckin Honda 50 that's holding him back.
