The official Cork and Irish Basketball thread.

Definitely poor league,Tralee lost to Sligo ,just when I thought they were by far best team in league,Neptune showed a bit of bottle against killorglin after being toothless against killester, collig still struggling, demons beating poor teams ,

Demons Killoglin needs overtime - if only to see how much carnage the referees can cause Demons new American looks like a player
Couldn’t make it down the dyke today. Watching it on BI TV…. Them 2 women make referees are horrendous. Surely Mac can find another co-commentator besides that plonker

Not a bad weekend for the cork sides in the men’s leagues. Demons will need to be at full strength for the cup game against Tralee to advance. Neptune will need to play their best game of the season to beat killester. Likewise for ballincollig making the dreaded trip to Sligo. I fancy all 3 cork teams to get a result next weekend and be in the semi finals. Safest bet for the coming weekend is that Creagh will not be in the commentary box with Mac 😂fella doesn’t know if a basketball is stuffed or pumped. Best place for him would be down the Shed leading the songs at Turners Cross

Don’t even know why I bother posting on this dead forum anymore but Neptune showed up to play for 6 minutes in the cup. Bcollig Irish players were non existent and demons will to win prevails again. Neptune are in big trouble, talented on paper but no doubt way overrated. Like I said at the start of season when Hosford comes back demons will be a totally different team, his experience and basketball brain to make sure Tilman gets his touches down low. If Kyle didn’t come back demons would be in trouble also. I genuinely fear for Cork Basketball. Cork teams winning F all underage, not many underage internationals and our superleague teams are in the height of shit.
