Great that the Corkman scored twice.

After the first couple of minutes the Tangerines came into it until the Tangerines came into it
Then it was over and back until we scored - then we just took over. Don't think there's any Scottish team can live with us if we take the lead and pile on the pressure like that.

Still would like to see Bernardo or McCowan get a start over Engles in the coming weeks

Drew 1-1 in the Derby.

Didn't really play well again but kinda dug it out to get the leveller through Idah.

I'm thankful for VAR on this occasion as the linesman had disallowed the goal for an imaginary offside.

The same official missed an actual offside when sevco had the ball in the net. Looked clearly off to me. Didn't need the big drama of taking an age to rule it out.... there were 4 of em offside.

Once again Celtic didn't really show. I think Sevco's style is a real challenge for us for whatever reason.

Idah got the goal but he should had another and made an absolute balls of a pass to Jamesie early on.

I can't complain too much as the team was down a few starters. So to get the draw was, I guess, something.

Idah needs a run of games next season.

He got the equaliser but should have had another and his pass to Forrest was very poor.
But the sharpness should come if he is told he's No 1 striker and has the managers confidence.

Idah has become an easy target for criticism imho - I think though he gives us another dimension - puts himself about, lays the ball off to advancing midfielders and keeps defences honest.

Compare and contrast to the kid gloves Engles gets treated with

With both players we were buying potential.

I'd love a Cork man to be a talisman for Celtic. I'm still yet to be convinced. Despite some huge goals and some big performances.

So what if Engles is barely 21? What has he done to show the raw potential that he'll turn into a great. He's too much of a fearty to be DM for the SPL imho. He lacks agression and while he might have an eye for a good forward pass don't we already have that in spades with Hatate and CalMac? Playing all three for so long in each match makes us too samey I think. Great if it works and we can pile on the pressure and maybe score 5, but if the opposition are wise to it they can more easily counter it. We're too predicatble with a midfield of those three imho

At least Idah brings something different to our forward line and he can hold up the ball and lay it off to others to score. Yeah he's prone to the odd brain fart too, and I'd like my striker to have more goals but I just don't get why excuses are made time and again for Engles but Idah gets pelters from the same people. Idah cocked up a pass to Jamesy that would have given a great 1 on 1; he also fluffed his lines when 1 on 1 with the hun keeper but the keeper did well; and then Idah scored a great goal out of relatively little. For his first full season with us I'm happy enough. I'd like to see him start every game between now and the Cup Final though. And I'd be giving Bernardo and Magowan game time too.
