The cold facts are this.

He should have won the league in 22/23 but blew up when the chips were down.

Unfair. They had an injury crisis. Their centre half missed a half dozen games. How would anyone cope with that???

The owners backed him heavily last year but they spent poorly on Havertz and Rice.

You'd imagine patience will be running thin when it's empty trophy cabinet time next May.

You'd think so. But I get the feeling the money men at Bumnal, while vastly more competent than the mutants, will be happy with top 4 most years. Brenteta might never win the league and they still won't sack him.
