The Official Arsenal Thread - Part 2

Look at the state of the mess ETH had walked into, It's only really as of this season he has what you could call some level of a proper football structure to work with.
Exactly Crusty, Handy is 100% correct. And you are too about Ten Hag.

Arsenal get mocked over Auba, Ozil, Pepe among many others. Arteta got rid of them all.
Our team now compared to 5 years ago is frightening.

Look at what Pep walked into and how long it took him to win the CL.

I've no doubt ETH is/was working with a shit show but a good manager will either demand proper structures or not sign or walk if promises are broken. A huge part of Wenger's downfall was the shit he took from the owners.

Anyone calling for Arteta's head is thick as shit or a very poor WUM.

Honestly, they’d never admit it but an Arteta type of manager is exactly what United need. Bang on about Wenger too.

I actually do agree they have come on a lot under Arteta it can't be denied, they are defensively very solid and won't concede many goals, my main criticism of Arsenal is after all these years they still haven't found a top level number 9 which probably could have been the difference between winning the league and not in previous seasons.

I know there is financial considerations but when trying to push City all the way a prolific goal scorer has to be the priority, Until they sort that piece of the puzzle and get a 25-30 goal per season player they won't win the league or CL imo.

But but United lol.

Arteta has won nothing in 4 seasons.
When he finishes a fifth straight season with no silverware he should be sacked.

But ye wont.
A loser club with a loser outlook.
They've already extended his contract.

Fine by me. If Utd get ever get thier act together it's one less team to worry about.

A lot of people say this yet we scored more goals last season than ever before in the prem.
By the way I wouldn’t say no to one but we have a lot of scorers from different parts of the pitch.

I didn't watch any of yesterday's football but I'll go out on a limb and say Bumnal played two banks of five and scored from a set piece?
As I said, I was flicking between sports. But yeah, it was a hard watch the bits I did see. Just looked at the xG

0.71 playing 0.74, with Bumnal have the only two big chances of the game.

Be still my beating heart.

Bumnal had 7 shots.

That's one for every 100 million pounds Brenteta spent I think. Spurs had 15.
