As you said, about time. That time SF collapsed Stormont for three years, they got full pay for the duration.

Earl pushing the loyalist version of events again I see.
Sinn Fein / IRA did NOT collapse Stormont for three years.
They collapsed Stormont for a year because unionists continuously reneged from honouring deals they'd previously made, including Acht Na Gaeilge, and the Renewable Heat scandal where the DUP were heavily implicated. Eventually, after about a year, there was an agreement reached whereby SF/ IRA agreed to go back into Stormont and DUP would honour all the deals. But then the DUP leadership went and consulted with Loyalist paramilitaries to get their imprimatur on the deal and when instructed by Loyalists like Dee Stitt, the DUP backed out of the agreement to return.
SF/ IRA collapsed Stormont for a year, and the DUP/Loyalists were responsible for it not getting back up for a further two years.
All what 5 of them ?
Nope not pushing any narrative, unlike you I only deal in factsEarl pushing the loyalist version of events again I see.
Says it all really how the private sector in this country is carrying it and all the leeches in the civil and public service.
The government parties must be very desperate to get back into goverment with the possibility of a voting pact. Is this option better with their grassroots than merging? Are we destined for another 100 years of FF/FG in government or do we foresee a day when SF get into government? Can't see it happening anytime soon.
