The next Government

Who will form the next government

  • Total voters
    56
  • Poll closed .
I like Ryan but he strikes me as terribly naive, FF and SF would run rings around him.

Dancing aside , he seems alright.

The leaders may talk about national interest but they are ultimately about the party.

The Greens as junior partners with FF/SF is lose/lose for them.

The bookies fancy FF/SF/Greens.

In that scenario do you see the Greens carrying the can for unpopular policy?

Surely Eamon Ryan has learnt the lessons of their last spell in government.

I'm sure some folk ;-) will find a way to blame the bad stuff on SF and give FF credit for anything that goes well.

The Greens are like a daft uncle - popular because he's thought to be relatively harmless but you couldn't trust him alone in the house for fear of what he might do unsupervised.

And much and all that the Greens don't want another roadway built in this country - very convenient that they're practically all within the Pale which has been made the transport infrastructure hub for this state - it should be a non-runner as far as rebalancing the state and not having the preponderance of jobs and ever longer commutes on the east coast.

The Greens as junior partners with FF/SF is lose/lose for them.

It could cost them all their seats.

They lack the cold hard cynicism of the likes of SF/IRA.
