In Westminster I advocated that Starmer should have precipitated an election at the time of Truss. He didn't it is what it is. Sunak and Reform will give him 400+ seats based on his M.O. of not being Labour and giving the Tories no point of attack on anything by following their line on everything. When have I not been open about who I voted for, in fact about three or four years ago I replied in detail to you why I do, so don't be throwing that bullshit at me at all. As long as you have been posting here, you first response to a crisis or drama in the dail/westminister/stormont is call an election.
Thankfully in the dail at least, we have adults that don't pander to childish whims.
Jez imagine a SF coalition....![]()
In Stormont, the SoS moved AE22 2.0 twice to cover the DUP and the LCC blocking an SF FM , in other words reneging on democracy.
I have never suggested an election since the election of this government. I did advocate an election before it was formed as clearly, FG wanted opposition, MM was prepared to do anything to get top job, and Leo squeezed him over months to claim the best portfolios in cabinet knowing they had him by the proverbials. Not sure that was in the best interest of the country at the time, given the other options that were available.
But we are where we are.
