Yes you keep claiming it to be a "non-story". You've a track record of such claims including Neil-Niall Collins-O'Connor and Golfgate and the like.

But you've yet to explain why it's OK for a sitting Minister and his wife to be driving around in a car that hasn't been taxed for 8 months when the Gardai were advertising the fact that they've confiscated cars for tax being out of date for a shorter period.
This must be one of the least corrupt countries on the entire planet if this is the best that they can dredge up?

The lads are off backing global pariah State Russia and cashing in for big $$$ spouting on this nonsense.

What next?

Ireland has been ranked 10th among all countries in the world in terms of being the least affected by corruption, moving ahead of countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

It is the first time the Republic has been placed in the top 10 by the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index since the index was first published in 1995. It means the Republic has outranked Australia (13th), Canada (14th) and the UK (20).

The 2022 rankings placed the Republic in 10th place, scoring 77 points out of 100, with Denmark (90), Finland (87) and New Zealand (87) taking the top three positions in terms of least corrupt countries. South Sudan (13), Syria (13) and Somalia (12) were designated the world’s most corrupt countries in the 180-country index.

The Irish score of 77 is a significant increase on its 2021 score of 74 points in a “perception index” that aggregates data from different international sources on perceptions by experts of the level of corruption in the public sector in each state considered.

In fairness there are some who are working but are barely able to get by, Take a couple with two kids, two cars, high rent,
one income, That is far from comfortable,
Well they could look at perhaps looking for better jobs and better pay elsewhere, get trained up or take on second jobs etc.

There is too much of a moaning entitled attitude in this country.

Stop talking sense Jimmy. The usual crew on here will no doubt lambast you for that.

They should have 3 jobs, live in a tent, no kids and cycle everywhere according to some.
