The identity of the parents was established in March 2023. Roughly how much longer should it take before the DPP issues an instruction on the case, in your opinion?
Is my recollection incorrect but was it not the word on the street for the last 35 years ago that the parents had a link to law enforcement?

I think they should be charged with murder with the option of pleading guilty to will full neglect which may or may not be acceptable to the prosecution.

Prosecution will allege baby murdered. It was their baby and did not alert anyone baby was missing.
They will say they had a baby at about this time but they gave it to someone for adoption.
They say that they did not hear that a baby was found down the road or it did not occur to them that it was their baby.
It did not ocuur to them in recent years to voluntary give their DNA.
