The GAA still hasn’t caught up in a lot of ways. They should take RTÉ to task for this shambles tonight though. 80 minutes and counting now of football and we’ll be lucky to get 30 minutes of hurling.

Every match so far. In front of empty stadiums and cricket noises ( insects). State of meaths ground. A disgrace. Clare cork was rocking. Lim march had a decent crowd. Waterford kk live wire. It’s a joke.

Fact is, like it or loathe it, the football leagues are competitive cos counties have skin in the game wrt championship. The same cannot be said about the hurling. There needs to be an incentive for teams that reach league final otherwise we continue to have situations like Waterford going on warm weather training this week and pretending tgat they would just love to cut short their holiday to play semi final, yeah sure you would Davy.
