The Gaelic Football Thread

It's mad Duke, the two pointer is a great idea and rewards skill, reducing that reward because a keeper touches is silly, particularly so in todays game when the ball has crossed over the crossbar.
Is there still a basketball rule called "Goal-Tending" that said that if the ball was interfered with on the way down i.e. after it had reached it's highest point that score would count? Would that rule resolve the situation? For example, if a defender partially-blocked the ball outside the arc as it was leaving the kicker's boot that would reduce the score to one but a goalie touching the ball as it crossed over the bar would not.

Some win for Louth in the Leinster minor semi final. Hopefully they win the big one Sunday against that crowd

Louth in Leinster Senior , U 20 and Minor Finals.

Small county for logistics
Small county for Talent Id
Centre of excellence county team not looking for pitches
No one playing that aul hurling.
Very strong county Board good planning.

For all the bellyaching about Dublin They cant match these factors bar the small county one.
I was at a Dublin Minor Trial 2 years ago. There were 120 lads and it was a mop up session. The GDA folk in clubs have become Camp organisers only. Too many dual players at minor level and a total lack of floodlight space for teams to train

Dublin and John Costello were lauded for years while the great team was steam rolling all Irelands but hindsight being 20:20 etc Dublin gaa really are a fucking pity, their actual structural issues masked by a number of super clubs and the senior footballers but in no particular order:
Parnell park is a disgrace
Lack of cb owned facilities across the city is abysmal
Number of clubs way too low for the population and severe lack of impact in the west of the county in particular
Hurling…..abysmal, 1 Leinster title in 40/50 years?
