How many of this year's are actually 25+ scores over the bar? Kerry got 27 in this regard v Armagh.
Valid point. If a team scores 0-30 you'd be seriously impressed. But if 10 of them are 2 pointers then it's only 0-20 in old money which isn't a massive score by any means.
That being said the new rules are fantastic and we've started watching football again on the telly (for some of the kids it's the first time!). Even started going to a few games which I never thought I'd do again....

This was discussed on the radio a few weeks ago.
Rough figures. The average winning score pre new rules was around 14/15scores- circa total 18 points
That average has gone up by /6 since the new rules came in
It’s 18 scores for 23-25 points

I hope they bring in 4 for a goal this winter. They will have to eventually once the managers/coaches figure things out. They haven’t yet

Games are open right now with lots of terrible tactical mistakes being made eg Armagh zone defense inside the arc in 2nd half last Sunday.
