Can see that Armagh story having some fairly significant reprecutions beyond just the case itself.

That's a few incidents on team holidays now, some more widely reported on than others. If true, this is different gravy but could cause some major blow back about the way some teams carry on on them considering how much they cost and the public fundraising that goes towards many of them. Would also note that team holidays are a big part of the revenue clamp down on County Boards that seems to be escalating this year.

Not in any way suggesting you can compare a supposed incident like this to the more general prick acting you hear about, but it's just the type of thing that could end up triggering a Fatwa on Joe Duffy.

The team holiday will be removed from county board’s expenditure soon. The Amateurs running county boards are exposing the GAA to potentially massive liabilities. If this Armagh story is true then Lady X could sue the GAA for millions and if she has good support and weight behind em it’s the GAA they’ll go after.

On what grounds could she sue the GAA?

Lolwut.

She didn't fall down a stairs m8

It's potentially a criminal matter and any civil case will be against the individual involved.
You are missing my point
The criminal matter is dealt by the police and state prosecution.
The civil case she may take can be against the perpetrator and the organizer of the trip.. her lawyers will defo try to go after the biggest pay day.. Sure I’d imagine a full time inter county footballer, say the likes of Nugent hasn’t a bob
