Aye, it was a really good episode. There's loads of buildings that have more or less been abandoned in cities and small towns all over the country.

One guy who came back to Ireland a few years ago took it upon himself to investigate. Says he found out that councils are not even aware of the scale of the problem.

If the owners don't want them, then the government has to step in and do something about it. They could almost certainly be a part of solving this.
