For me it has to be Jelena Jankovic. Remarkable run of consistency through the years. First woman (and only i think) to reach No.1 without having reached a Grand Slam final. That alone is some achievement!

She's been in four GS semi's and one GS final losing to Serena Williams in 2008. She's 26 now so time is running out....i know yeah 26 for fawk sake.

Wozniacki reached no.1 as well without having won a grand slam.
 
I'd love to see Brent Harvey win another AFL title medal for North Melbourne.I'd love to see Daniel Goulding and the rest of the Cork footballers win another all ireland medal and i wan't Pa Horgan and Shane O'Neill to be part of an all ireland winning Cork team.

It'd be nice to see Wales qualify for the soccer world cup, would be a decent tribute to Gary Speed and they have some very handy young players.
