Jeffrey says he is in the states to attract investment to the north, He says sf are there purely to promote and fundraise for a border poll.
That's not all he said jimmy. He also said that ni worked best when nationalists and unionists worked together and that he was against the (Good Friday Agreement) The Protocol and that the Windsor Framework was alright as far as it went but needed more tweaks and concessions.
For the first 50/60 years of the north there was no nationalists and unionists working together - it was a Unionist house run by them and for them. Now that nationalists have the biggest party in Stormont Jeffrey doesn't want to work with nationalists at all. His party are boycotting the place, and keeping it closed.
It's part of the Unionist psyche, particularly the DUP - get as many concessions as they can in a deal, pocket them, and then look for more or else renege on any agreement entered into.
The DUP backed the wrong horse time and again but will always try to blame someone else for the fact that the 21st Century is creeping in around the edges in ni, and the Unionist monopoly is on the wane.
