From what i've read around the place a lot of McDonalds are still open and operating but they seem to be 'franchise' operators, this was back in March though.
Saw something that all McDonalds will reopen in June as allegedly they'll be lifting restrictions on the use of trademarks and patented brands among companies that have blacklisted Russia.
You can still get Coke and Fanta though, place looks better stocked than my local Lidl.
Anyhow back to the war, it seems a humanitarian corridor was opened earlier this morning after 9 members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces left Azovstal waving a white flag looking to negotiate, not sure were they Nazi Azov or regular soldiers or even the 'mercenaries' from France, UK and US but whichever, at least 51 wounded soldiers in the first batch were taken to the hospital in Novoazovsk.
Meanwhile, looks like BRICS will become BARICS or BRICSA as Argentina look set to join after accepting an invitation to the summit been held in China on May 20-24.
A change at the top as Zelenskyy has appointed this guy, Igor Tantsyura as the new commander of the Territorial Defense Forces after he dismissed Yuri Galushkin from this post. The reasons for the change of commander are not reported.

Reports that Ukraine are "winning" the war might be a bit premature after it was revealed that in a phone call to Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu by Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III, he urged an
immediate ceasefire in Ukraine, strange thing to be asking for.
Of course the senile old farts that are representing the US are admitting it, how often can this guy say "we're at war"
