They're counting women working in construction company offices, white collar roles; engineers, h&s officers, throw in pa's/receptionists so make the numbers a bit bigger. I know of one female lorry driver. You wont see them hefting blocks and chowing down breakfast rolls so much. Though the feminist brigade wont like it, there's jobs that women simply aren't interested in, same as you wont see many men interested in working in play schools.

I think you misunderstand what the feminist brigade like and don't like.

I have no interest in forcing women to work as builders, I just want to be sure that they can if they want to. In the same way, I have no interest in forcing men to work in play schools, but they should be able to if they wished.

There was a male teacher in my kids playschool. I don't believe that anyone, feminist or otherwise, objected...
