Renault 1.5DCI Engine

Lads, a buddy has a 07 Renault Kangoo, the timing belt snapped and made shite of the engine. His mechanic is trying to get another engine for it.

Does it have to be a Kangoo engine or will any Renault 1.5Dci engine do the job?

Of go for an exact match if possible! Its just that when the new engine is fitted it'd be easier to re program the ecu if the engine was identical.

Its a brilliant site/service to be fair, cheap courier service too. Your buddy may have to travel for the engine tho, cos delivery is charged by weight!
