J JP Stone Banned May 22, 2012 #1 Lads, a buddy has a 07 Renault Kangoo, the timing belt snapped and made shite of the engine. His mechanic is trying to get another engine for it. Does it have to be a Kangoo engine or will any Renault 1.5Dci engine do the job?

P Pandora's bosca May 23, 2012 #2 Of go for an exact match if possible! Its just that when the new engine is fitted it'd be easier to re program the ecu if the engine was identical.

S slick fingers May 23, 2012 #5 Its a brilliant site/service to be fair, cheap courier service too. Your buddy may have to travel for the engine tho, cos delivery is charged by weight!
