Cork should be all over this. Could you get temporary seating in to a degree that satisfies UEFA?
Similar to the time Croke Park did, temporary seating.Cork should be all over this. Could you get temporary seating in to a degree that satisfies UEFA?
Local politicians should push this if there is a chance it could happen,Similar to the time Croke Park did, temporary seating.
It would be a huge step in clearing the debt along with supporting the local economy.
It’s got nothing to do with seating. Temp seating can be arranged for the terraces…no problem.Similar to the time Croke Park did, temporary seating.

Seating is also a factor saying it's nothing to do with it is wrong. It’s got nothing to do with seating. Temp seating can be arranged for the terraces…no problem.
The problem is the lack of corporate boxes for the suits. THATS the problem. SV PUC does not have enough for the suits.
Unless uefa can get guarantees that they can squeeze in all the little piglets in suits and Qatari bisht’s into corporate boxes with leather cushion seating, then it’s not going to get sign off.
Casement would have had double the corporate boxes available.
Hahahahaha can you just imagine Qataris or Russian oligarch disgust given a portocabin hanging off the back of the blackrock terrace with the only access being a ladder type metal staircase .Seating is also a factor saying it's nothing to do with it is wrong.
Push could come to shove and they might not have a choice but to accept SV PUC the way it is.
Also with temporary seating could easily put more temporary boxes on both terraces.
Otherwise the UK and Ireland risk losing hosting full stop.
And an old fella in a high viz giving out to them,Hahahahaha can you just imagine Qataris or Russian oligarch disgust given a portocabin hanging off the back of the blackrock terrace with the only access being a ladder type metal staircase .
If that half arse solution is rolled out then it raises another headache as there’ll be no space for Jumbotron screens (which are also a pre-requisite).
There would have to be a lot if infrastructural work to even make that happen. It’s got nothing to do with seating. Temp seating can be arranged for the terraces…no problem.

This is also part of the reason why we didn’t succeed in rwc2023 bidding. Not enough shiny corporate boxes for the entitled.
We have plenty of time to do the required upgrades,There would have to be a lot if infrastructural work to even make that happen.
The press facilities, fan areas, hospitality areas, TV/Comms all fell way short for the RWC application.
Corporate boxes cost a fortune to rent for the competition and that is part of their funding model.
PUC does not even have big screens.
