That's a pity. Was looking forward to it but your reviews are generally on the money EG. Will have a sconce at it anyway no doubt.

I would also agree with your review,I saw this in the Cork Film Festival last year.I found it very clunky in places,although I did like the sections with the parents/son(Andrew Scott) in the film.i know alot of people who loved it,but I found it hard to engage with the story,horses for courses I suppose. 5/10

to be honest after I seen Thomas and SlickY's reviews I checked Pirate Bay for Dune 2 and sure enough I downloaded it myself lol.
Didn't think Dune 1 was great mind you. It was on Bog 2 there recently.

I had Dune 1 on my old Sky boxbut the engineer took it away. I might watch both together or like a day apart

Watched it in 2 hits this week, first time watching a film in ages. I really liked it, thought they told the story well, paced it nicely. Good insight into the American psyche

Promising young woman

Carey Mulligan on a vigilante mission against the men who raped her friend.

It's good but not great. Well worth a watch. Mulligan is excellent.

A few nicely unexpected twists in the plot too.

7/10

Thought it was very good to be honest.
Enjoyed Bo Burnham's role.
