His 2021 movie Pig is outstanding.

Nicholas Cage is imo one of the most interesting and entertaining actor's working ATM.
Not all of what he makes is good but it certainly is all original and different.
In a world obsessed with super hero movies and remakes, I'm all for original and different.

I loved Moonstruck even and that was a bit smalthzy!!

His turns in Leaving Las Vegas and Adaptation are up there with anyone


His tax issues means hes churned out mostly rubbish in the last 20 years but in films like Pig he can remind you hes well able to act.


Has worked with some of the biggest directors. Scorsese, David Lynch, Brian De Palma, The Coen Bros. Hes no slouch.

Saw the trailer. Thought McGregor was just playing himself….obnoxious thug/scumbag? Was he actually acting??

Past Lives….the missus raved about wanting to see it. If you like slow movies it’s probably your thing. I tuned out after an hour. Dunno how I even lasted that long. Didn’t engage with anyone in it. Some nice scenery in it but I can look out the window for that. 1/10
