Memento is a great film.

Nolan's second feature and put him on the map. Showed he could do studio blockbuster with Batman Begins and the rest is history.

Looking forward to Oppenheimer, amazing cast.

Memento is everything I enjoy in a film - compelling, interesting, and entertaining. Nolan makes you feel like you are in the room with his characters.

Day Shift

Time for a bit of light relief, Day Shift is a comedy/horror about Bud Jablonski (Jamie Foxx) who's job is a pool cleaner but who is really a vampire hunter that collects their teeth as a bounty to cash in.

When his wife, who he's separated from, says she's moving with their 10 year old daughter to Florida as she can't afford $10,000 for dental work and school year, Bud is forced to go back to work for the Hunters Union to try and earn the 10k in a week, also stars Snoop Dogg as legendary hunter Big John Elliott, never knew Snoop was that tall!

A good enough movie from Netflix, fast paced, has some decent enough vampire make up and effects, mightn't be too young kid friendly though, overall 5/10

Nope - 6/10 - Not bad, but way too pleased with itself. Good performance from Daniel Kaluuya. Get Out is one of my favourite moves of the last few years, Us was decent. Seriously diminishing returns on Jordan Peele's output.

Written, produced and Directed by Jordan Peele, Nope is a strange one, watching the trailer you'd be inclined to think UFOs and alien abductions, almost right, without spoiler it.

Story is about a horse wrangler and his sister who supply horses for Hollywood movies and shoots and who's ranch comes under 'attack' from forces unknown, slow to take off, picks up in th elast hour and might not be what you'd expect, decent enough 5/10
