I’m not sure is it the same establishment, but my young fella (student) was telling me it was over €16 for a double drop off the top shelf from a Washington street location. An absolute outrage given a liter of it isn’t much more in the off licence. No wonder students are drinking copious amounts before town.

A 70cl I was referring to apologies they can be got for cheaper in duty free. Regardless of price it is still outrageous that 2 shots almost pays for the bottle while the rest is pure profit!

Sometimes you could be paying for the mixers. Gone be the day you'd have the large bottles of 7 up or whatever on the bar

When i was in school there were few girls into sports. By no means just a boy thing. Both can be very sportive.

I'm assuming this was with a mixer?
Say €6.50 for a drop x 2 is €13 and 3 for a small bottle of mineral. That's the going rate in town.

Was at the “FBI”, aka Ferryboat Inn, Ringaskiddy, about 2 weeks ago, and a Guinness was €4.70, cheapest i’ve seen in a long time, allthough, i was up at Vicar Street last December, and there was a local pub- Kennedys i think, a few doors down from the venue, and a Guinness was i think €5,30, which wasn’t bad either.

€5.30 for a pint of Heineken/Coors in my local. €5.60 up the road, €6 in the place with notions that's more of a restaurant.
€7 in Ballyphehane is ridiculous. I assume the locals aren't paying that, only the mugs going to see a gig in Muzzers.
