You do know that SF are at loggerheads with the dissidents don't you? The dissidents have decried SF as "traitors" and have threatened to kill members of SF and have carried out attacks on their homes. Loyalists keep voting for the DUP though. In fact, the DUP leaders were still openly running things by Loyalist paramilitary leaders for permission up to less than just six years ago - see Arlene Foster and Dee Stitt.
Indeed the DUP still have to get the OK from the likes of the bigoted Orange Order on new policies, even when they only agree to take their place in Stormont.
