Given your moniker here would I be right in thinking you're an Arsenal fan (apologies for any offence if you're not)? And bearing in mind what you said about following City home and away you weren't by any chance that guy, straight black hair, who always wore an Arsenal top in the shed in the days where crowds were so relatively sparse everyone kinda had their own place there.

Guy I recall used to be usually just behind the old geezer who used smoke a cigar and have a large teddybear under his arm. I know CCFC fans today might find that hard to believe but they were different times back then.

Just remembered I was out for a walk with the missus recently and encountered Deccie Daly on Summer Hill. Now there was a guy who could play a bit - if only he was about 6 inches taller he'd have been good enough to play across the water imho.
