Stopped listening a few years ago, the forced banter is irritating.

No worse than some others for that, I think. There's actually less of it than on other shows, because there's nobody on it that really fancies themselves as the comic relief of the pod. I like this and the Totally Football pod because they cover football allover Europe and not just the UK.

Yeah, some of them are good, but there's generally too many of them during a pod. Their fan boys go ga ga for them though.

I'd be a lot closer to paying for Second Captains content than OTB content...but probably wouldn't part with cash for either.

That's not to say they don't produce some good stuff - but it's a saturated market and there's great quality free content available, as well as written digital content.

A pod would need to be amazing and blazing a lone trail in a really innovative way for me to be tempted to pay for it.

Their covering for Miriam O'Callaghan's holiday show is great. The format suits them in that they stifle their zaney shite and they get good guests

OTB are a shower of pricks, I used to listen regularly to the morning show but can’t bear it now. I’d have the evening show on the radio in the Car the odd time as they get some decent guests from time to time like Philip AuClair or Tim Vickery but it’s mindless drivel in the most part.

If I barely listen for free they haven’t a chance of me paying.

I like the second captains free Monday football show but that’s enough of them for a week, couldn’t listen to them everyday

Yup, wouldn't listen to OFF the Ball in the car anymore tbh and I would have quite a bit when driving.

Sports coverage should concern sports. Its ok to divert into other areas of it now and then but stick to the nuts bolts of it.

These guys think they're investigative journalists trying to smash the patriarchy or tackle boxers tweets on immigration.
