Arragh can we not just enjoy what she achieved last night without turning it into a political statement? The only poster I’ve seen bring this up in the last few days are those purporting to defend her.
Yup you’re wrong ?correct me if i’m wrong here, m8, but aren’t you the poster who had a cut off the hillsborough 97 after yanited got spanked 7-0 by liverpool?
sorry there.Yup you’re wrong ?
Nope, you’re not at all rattled by me Dan. Not even slightly. ??Nah he only used Heysel to score points after United got trashed.
Totally different lol

Nailed it.Most of the tweets hammering Hannon look to be from profiles that would agree with Kellie's tweet, so I doubt he's going to lose any sleep over it. But given his own social media history, I'd say he wished he had never asked her about the tweet in the first place. It's pretty sad if your first inclination after a great Irish Olympic moment is to go rage tweeting a no-mark radio presenter about an interview from early last year.
?good heavens and you were saying my comebacks yesterday were shit.Pwned to within an inch of your life.
Yet again.
You would win Gold at the FAIL olympics m8.
?you couldn’t even enjoy a gold medal without coming on to PROCNot just yesterday you plum.
Why would it have ended her career? The tweet was already out there for a while, people had seen it and she was on there that morning as a brand ambassador for Spar. It clearly hadn't done her career any harm. If she had handled the interview better, that would have been the end of it. As it was, she had a few days of people commenting about it online and then the majority of people moved on. We're not going to agree on this clearly, but I honestly don't see what the big issue was with the question being asked by Hannon. If she didn't want anyone to ask her about then maybe she shouldn't have tweeted it in the first place. Or at least deleted it on reflection. He got exactly what he deserved m8.
His hatchet job and the subsequent pile on could have ended her career.
