They are all busy working in Poland etc. where there is plenty of work.

I work in a different sector, benefiting from poor local competition and having laughs at local rasists sending me 'home' each time they feel insecure.

was reading an article recently about the shortages in construction sector. There was a photo from the air of Warsaw downtown ongoing projects which employ the manpower easily able to secure a half of what is being built in Ireland and that was only some of the projects from one city. I will try to post it when I find it as it gives an idea of the size.

And if you earn similar money but pay 25% of the cost of living it makes a big difference.

Eastern Europe is doing very well economically and in the E.U. which is why Russian wants to wreck all the places of its former Soviet empire.

No need to come here when you can get work at home and a better quality of life as a local.

this is a different topic. An absolute shite done by the Irish gov towards house crisis and their work to cement status quo for landlords (90% of Dail?) and various sorts of scammers is a bit different story.

On the side note, social on the continent is better than in Ireland in value (and not to mention quality of living which is much higher than on Islands)
