Murder of a GAA chairman

Flip that a big Soundy. Funny how an organisation who vowed never to put down the gun ended up doing just that.

As regards Haughey, Colley demanded a veto on the appointment and was given it in return for him continuing to serve in government. Haughey only had full control of the party from the mid 80s.

Which organisation "vowed (they'd) never put down the gun"? 🤷‍♂️

At the end of the day Colley was a baten docket despite having been the anointed one. Haughey called the shots in FF no matter what sop Colley thought he had. I see you now accept that Haughey had full control of FF in the mid 80s - not bad going for a guy you also claimed got F**ked out of FF a decade before 😂

Haughy was up to his neck in gunrunning to the Provos and it seems, if one was to believe him, that Jack Lynch was the only one who didn't know about it.

So you accept I was right about the veto. Great. Let’s move on now. Many awful tragedies took place during the troubles that never need to have happened. Many in the IRA and loyalist paramilitaries colluded with British security services. Many lives that were lost could have been saved had that not been the case.

Isn't it amazing (not really) the way the FFG shills here on PROC insist on railroading most threads into a critique of Sinn Féin.

Housing is bad - it's somehow spun as being SF's fault
Climate is heading for catastrophe - it's somehow spun as being SF's fault
Russia's unjustifiable invasion of Ukraine - yup, they've spun that as partially being SF's fault too
etc etc

This, a thread about British collusion with Loyalists, into the killing of an inoffensive community leader from the north...yup, you've guessed it, they've done it again.

The shills must be absolutely bricking it about upcoming elections given their concerted efforts here.

Lads can we tone down the anti-loyalist talk please.

We've moved on as a country, no need to be dwelling on the past.

BTW fuck SF/IRA
Aren't you the lucky man...move on.
Go up to Tyrone and meet the Fox,Shields and O Hagan families slaughted by loyalist gunmen with information handed over by mi5 and covered up for a lifetime.
Collusion at the very top.
Easy move on from Cork .
