A complete one off. His solo stuff afterwards was great too. That project was called Ming and had some cracking tunes like 'no more GAA' ' I met Andy Ruane (he wasn't cool at all)' , 'You Stole my Tricycle etc .

Yeah I think he's the guy I remember all right. Was a friend of a friend from Blarney. Met him once at a party at mutual friends place and saw him some months later doing something at a gig in the Cat Club. Did a pisstake cover of I Believe I Can Fly R Kelly if I'm not mistaken. Next I heard of him was the mutual friend from Blarney told me he'd taken his own life, he took it very badly.
