I’m sure his office does clinics but I’d imagine you’re highly unlikely to meet him personally. You’d probably be dealing with Cllr Mary Rose Desmond who runs his office.

No private company would take them apart from a company that was getting loads of work from the state.

They’d have no shortage of offers to join boards and giving after dinner speeches. I’d imagine Micheál is at an age where he could semi-retire and write a few books. Harris could be involved in politics for a long time yet.

Seriously, I'm not sure that's a line worth pursuing. There are very few politicians who would be in a position to walk into a "normal" job. I remember conversations in the media of a similar nature over 40 years ago. It is what it is. Go through all the party leaders and you could make that case for almost all of them.

MM looked very fresh when talking to Jarleth Burns at croke park.
MM we might just remember was just back after a 18 hour flight from Japan.
He could not have been so fresh unless he travelled first class.
