Manic Street Preachers release deluxe set of debut albu

Or... if, like Jimmy Comic, you can't wait to open your presents and it's on YouTube already. :lol!:

Nice one, Jim - I'll take a listen now. (y)

EDIT: Christ. That's not great at all.

"The Holy Bible" was released 30 years ago today. Still an incredible piece of work.

They're debuting a brand new track on BBC 6Music later today too.
we got THB, Portishead's album and Grace by jeff buckley and definitely maybe all released within two weeks of each other. What a year for music all round! Cobain's suicicde etc 1994 was a mad one

I never understood the appeal of Jeff Buckley really. That Portishead record was something else though.

Addedto the records you mentioned - 1994 was one of those majestic years that music has every so often - across the genre spectrum;

Rollins Band - "Weight"
Weezer - "Blue Album"
Beastie Boy "Ill Communication"
Nas - "The Illmatic"
Biggie - "Ready To Die" (though I had it on recently and it could do with some editing)
Mayhem's debut record
Kyuss - "Sky Valley"
Green Day - "Dookie"
The Offspring - "Smash"
Pavement - "Crooked Rain"
Massive Attack - "Protection"
Sunny Day Real Estate - "Diary"
Pearl Jam - "Vitalogy"
Blur - "Parklife"
Soundgarden - "Superunknown"
NIN - "Downward Spiral"

And there's tons more.
