Live at the Marquee 24

Van was excellent I thought, amazing band. He is a great musician and still has his voice. Along with the music in the Marquee as usual, there was a constant chatter - people waiting for the hits but happy to talk through the rest of it.

One of the backing singers was a stunner !

"Where did you get those runners?"

"These? Oh... eh... Schuh in town."

"They're very nice. Adidas Sambas?"

"No. These are Handball Spezials. They kinda look like... Sorry one sec.... BABY, WE WERE BORN TO RUUUUUUUUUUN! So yeah they kind of look like Sambas alright but they're not."
 
Friend has 2 standing tickets for Damien Dempsey tomorrow night, Saturday June 8th, and can’t make it €70 for the pair if anyone's looking, they are about €100 face value.
